The following conversation is with Megasley, general manager of Africa Free Routing, one of the few Bitcoin Lightning Node services in Africa, and the first active lightning node in Nigeria. Megasley is a software engineer who works with Bitcoiner Africa, a non-profit organisation documenting the development of Bitcoin in Africa. He has spent the last four years of his life travelling to over ten countries across Africa and Europe, preaching the gospel of Bitcoin and Lightning to developers.
He loves to go to church wherever he travels. I remember when we first met in 2022, in the city of Accra, at a Bitcoin Conference; he was telling me how much he would love to be at Shiloh, a yearly conference organised by the Living Faith Church, Nigeria.
He is a bright, young, humble, and amazing individual.
